a. Right after installing the app go to «Setting»
b.Set the General setting first
- Company address is used as shipping origin and appear on your invoices.
- Warehouse address is used to indicate address for a courier to pick up cargo for shipping. Setting is applicable only if your store based in Russia
- Units measurement: Currency setting is set automatically according to Shopify store setting and must be the same as indicated in your CDEK contract.
c. Set delivery modes and price plans that will be available for calculating delivery cost for your customers.
Rate adjustment will increase delivery cost for customers
d. Set shipment dimensions
Since Shopify store has no package dimensions setting for most of the countries and CDEK calculator requires package dimensions it is necessary to set at least one default package to get correct shipping rates and create a shipping order.
You can add your standard shipment dimensions here or set them manually each time you create an order.
e. Set account and secure
Technically both accounts can be used for submitting shipping orders. We recommend using test account and secure parameters specified in Data Exchange Protocol (v1.5) at the very beginning to make sure that the app works. Right after making sure everything works switch on to the live account using your personal account and secure parameters.
